Mount Vernon --The Mount Vernon Community School District Alumni Association is pleased to announce the following alums were selected as 2023 Alumni Hall of Fame recipients:

ATHLETIC -- Jeff Meeker 1989

SERVICE -- Sara Kendall 1978

COMMUNITY IMPACT -- Mike Woods 1977

ACHIEVEMENT -- Jamil Farshchi 1996

Hall of Fame Events took take place on Friday, September 29, 2022. The public was invited to attend the Alumni Association Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony at 9:00 am in the Mount Vernon High School Performing Arts Center. Following the ceremony, a Public Reception was held in the lobby.

Friday evening, September 29 was the President’s Hall of Fame Reception, the Homecoming Game and presentation of Hall of Fame Award Winners during halftime at the Football Field, and the All-Alumni-Community Reception at the Martha Parsons Activities Complex (MAC)

In addition, student events included the Thursday evening Parade and Crowning of the Homecoming Queen and King and the Powderpuff Game, and their Saturday Homecoming Dance.
